“Liz was introduced to us by the charity UCARE who planned to involve Broughton Castle in the design of a special garden they had commissioned for the RHS Spring Show at Malvern in May 2016. This could have been a quiet event with the UCARE garden just being one of a number of show gardens and with limited publicity through the show organisers and UCARE’s own efforts. And then UCARE hired Liz ... her imagination  and energy resulted in the UCARE garden and Broughton Castle and the gardener, Emily Sharpe, benefiting from a ten- minute section on the BBC’s Gardeners’ World programme in the week of the show, seen by a huge TV audience.

It wasn’t just luck. Getting on the show meant Liz coming up with a sufficiently imagination storyline for the BBC producer, managing the whole event, and translating intention into reality. It all went off extremely well leading to happy BBC, UCARE, Broughton Castle and Emily Sharpe. A smoothly managed and extremely successful project. Many thanks Liz! “
